GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM – The Stuhr Building becomes a Quilter's paradise for two days February 6 & 7 with the annual "It's Quilting Time" quilt show. Instruction, shopping and inspiration will be on tap during this event, which features chances to listen, learn and sew along! The show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 6 and Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 7.
This year, Stuhr is proud to present the "Timeless Animals Great and Small" Quilt Exhibit for your viewing pleasure during the show. "Animals," showcases quilts from Stuhr's substantial collection and feature animals as part of the design. Quilts from quilters in a dozen Nebraska towns are also on display. The exhibit runs through February 7.
The quilt show itself will feature vendors from across the state, food, demonstrations and much more.

Vendors will have available: Stencils, books, quilt type gifts, notions, patterns, quilt kits, ready made quilts, fat quarters, quilting machines, frames plus fabric, fabric and MORE fabric. Each vendor is allowed one booth special a day. Visitors can come and check out the special offer from each vendor.
Food will be available for purchase in the auditorium. This year's caterer is Megan Yutesler from St. Libory.
