GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM - Stuhr's annual Summer Exhibit "Generations of Sport" goes where few exhibits has gone before by encouraging you to take our "used" artifacts, and try out some sports!
The exhibit, which runs May 15 - September 13, focuses on sports as they existed during the mid and late 1800s. Adults can play ping pong, badminton, throw a period baseball and hit a volleyball, all using 1800s period rules. For children there's bowling, basketball, a boxing bag and period games such as Carrom, Skittles and Shoot the Moon on the second floor.
