A Merry Olde 16th Century Yuletide
Feast presented by LaCamerata Madrigal Singers. Join us for an evening of song
and feasting in the Elizabethan tradition. LaCamerata Madrigal Singers was
formed in 1986 to provide a new and unique form of entertainment for Central
Nebraska. This group performs each Thanksgiving weekend with pageantry and
song. The members transform the banquet hall into a medieval-looking castle,
complete with Christmas trees and an armored knight sentry. Dinner guests enjoy
a four-course feast serenaded by three hours of madrigal and period music.
Singers stroll by the dinner table clad in ornate Elizabethan costumes. Actors
entertain the guests with humorous stories and plays. The performance is widely
known as a heartwarming beginning to the holiday season. LaCamerata Madrigal
Singers is proud to maintain a high musical standard in the performing arts of
Central Nebraska.
