Newly remodeled facility houses historical resources such family files, genealogies, bound Cairo “Records” newspapers from 1946-2010 with a earlier dates included, early settler/Cairo historical photographs from Balcom-Green Collection (1,200 glass plate negatives), reference books, as well as various articles, publications and such.
2011 marks Cairo 125th Anniversary.
Display cases contain artifacts connected to the Pawnee Nation, pioneers, military, natural history, mementos from local citizens dating from mid-1800’s – current day.
